Cyclopark is a unique multi-activity venue located in 49 acres of parkland in Gravesend, Kent. It was opened in 2012, is owned by Kent County Council and operated by the charity on the Council’s behalf. All profit is reinvested into the park’s facilities and charitable activities that resonates with the Society’s strategy of reinvesting profits for the benefit of members.
Cyclopark offers learn to ride schemes, bike hire, a BMX track, a variety of fitness programmes including parent and baby, chair fit and chat and menopausal clinic, children’s play park, skate park and cycloland and hosts events such as the British BMX Championships, the Disability & para cycling road series and the South-East Regional Cyclo Cross Championship.
On Tuesday 29 July, staff from Gravesham Friendly, in conjunction with the Repair Cafe, manned a pop-up stall at Park Life hosted by Gravesham Borough Council and held at Cyclopark. It was a very successful day with brand awareness for the Society raised and lots of bikes repaired.
We champion community spirit and collaboration; our ambition is to help people lead more confident lives and enhance our local environment.
